Fat Fish

In September 2010, Dawghaus Studios signed up for the DIGI60 30-day film festival. Entrants were given 30 days to produce a short film, no longer than eight minutes, that is "based on a short story written in elementary school by someone who is now at least 18 years old." We chose to adapt a very simple story and use the festival as an opportunity to experiment with an unusual approach, namely filming almost the whole film from the perspective of a fish in an aquarium, which presented unique challenges for the production. The film screened at the Shenkman Centre on November 16.
